Thank you for that well researched story. I’ve been interested in traveling there to see if I could fill in the blanks or add to the story that I have been able to find. Even with the internet being in California does limit my ability to find out much and what I have found has some big differences and many common threads. What a sad story, it sounds like people had made up their minds about the poor woman long before any ’evidence’ was heard! I agree with your thoughts, thank you for telling her story and may she rest in peace.
